Borusan Music House, a contemporary art space & music hall in Istanbul, is hosting the second edition of ‘Matter-Light 2’ after the first exhibition last year. As a light-related exhibition, I think the overall impact was really inspiring as each installation shows how its ‘meaning’ as the aim and ‘material’ as the tool are revealed by light. In the form of the installations, light is identifying the material by becoming the cause of it to be seen. So light is observed as a vital organ and the essence of the installations in order to express the meaning that the artist wanted to create
